Azelaic pads have anti-inflammatory and anti-acne properties, and help reduce the size of enlarged oil pores. Azelaic acid has strong comedolytic, bacteriostatic and sebostatic properties, reducing the appearance of acne scars caused by common acne or rosacea. Azelaic acid also produces a gentle keratolytic effect that helps lighten discolorations and even out skin tone, leaving the skin smooth and evenly pigmented. Arnica and cucumber extracts help reduce inflammation and erythema. Suitable for use on combination and seborrheic skin as well as couperose skin prone to pimples and comedones.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• For night skin care routine.
- Begin with using the pads twice weekly
and then slowly increase to a more frequent use. If you have advanced rosacea or common acne, you can use Azelaic
pads on a daily basis or as recommended by your therapist. Azelaic pads may cause skin exfoliation and irritation. If you notice any such signs, increase the time period between applications. - Azelaic pads are suitable for use on the skin of the face, neck and back, and skin affected by acne or hyperkeratinization.
- When using skin care products based
on azelaic acid, apply zinc-based Dermomedica Antioxidant Mineral Cream SPF 30 or Resveratrol Mineral Cream SPF 30 during the day for mineral photoprotection.
